On March 23rd, we will have our special Women's History Month Celebration. I'd love to see our female staff members to portray a famous woman, it would be especially nice to select one who has made a significant contribution to history or is currently impacting society. Our staff has been wonderful about celebrating women this special way in the past and I for one am looking forward to this celebration of women! During PA announcements each morning, our leadership students are sharing with us biographies of women, use them for inspiration! So far we've heard about: Jane Goodall, Malala Yousafzai, Josephine Baker, Sally Ride, Margaret Thatcher, and Susan B. Anthony. There will be many more inspirational women in our daily announcements, listen up to see if there is someone you would like to portray!

It truly is a fun day for us to celebrate women and it would be great to have high participation numbers. Imagine seeing Eleanor Roosevelt, Evita Peron, Frida Kahlo, Hillary Clinton or Toni Morrison, walking around on our campus!

For those who choose to participate: We will be taking a group picture and sharing a few words about our selected historical figure on the 8th grade stage during Nutrition.
